DROP IN EVENT – Are you sitting comfortably?

Come and try our redesigned pew for yourself.  It is moveable and has cushions.

Over the past few months, the Futures Group has been working to develop a pew that retained the oak and elm carved pews and pew ends, but –

• Allowed them to be moved so that the church could be used more flexibly;
• Were made more comfortable so that people could sit in them for longer.

Together with carpenters from Newmans of Bath, Hanney Welding of Bitton and  The Caravan & Boat Seat Cover Centre of Bristol, the new pew has been developed and is now ready to try and give your views before work goes ahead to convert the remaining pews in the church.

Drop in the church  any time between 11am and 3pm.  There will be coffee, tea and cakes  and the opportunity to view some of the other plans for St Mary’s future.
