Everyone is welcome at St Mary’s Church Fête, in Bitton, on Saturday 2nd September, from 1.30 to 5.30pm. A traditional village event for all the family.
The fête also includes a Dog Show run by Highcroft Veterinary Centre Longwell Green.
There will be a great variety of stalls including a Bookstall, White Elephant, Toys and Nearly Nu clothing.
We are also very pleased that Tatters and Tails Morris will be visiting us again after their debut performance in Bitton last year, as well as our old friends the Companions of the Longbow. Music will provided by #Oldland Brass, the Jazzbeanz and the St Mary’s Minstrels
There’s a licensed bar and a range of refreshments on the main field and in the church as well as delicious cream teas in the garden of Church Farm. That’s not to mention some delicious cakes for sale on the WI stall.
For children there will be Face Painting, Glitter and a special activity table run by The Meadows School. Professor Hudd’s Punch and Judy will also be featuring.
Added attractions will be provided through a display of beautifully maintained vintage cars and, in the church, some beautifully made Fabergé style eggs.
Lots of games and attractions culminating in the Egg Throwing Contest at the end of the afternoon.
Also don’t miss:
- Annual Summer Raffle
- Best Bitton Baker Competition run by the Women’s Institute.
